Detectives say Holzman stolea collection of antique firearms from a relative, then sold them at a local pawn shop for afraction of their value. Fortunately, he used his real driver’s license to conduct the transaction,and when Cape cops found the guns at the store, they were able to quickly trace the theft backto Holzman. After being found guilty of the crime, the 37-year-old spent two and a half monthsbehind bars before being released on state probation. He actually only had about a month anda half left on that term, but now that he’s violated, that probation will likely get extendedsignificantly. To date, he’s been booked seven times in Lee County on charges of grand theft,fraud, contempt, battery/domestic violence, and multiple drug counts. He is 5’7”, 140 pounds, and has multiple tattoos, including a clover with the word “Irish” on his right arm and Japanesesymbols inked on his stomach.Jose RodriguezIn Collier County, deputies are on the hunt for a man wanted on multiple warrants fornarcotics-related charges. Jose Walton Rodriguez has been on the run since December afterviolating the terms of his state probation. This 34-year-old fugitive has a lengthy history of drugtrafficking, as documented in his four local arrests, as well as the seven years he’s spent in thestate penitentiary. In addition to those charges, Rodriguez has also been incarcerated for ahome invasion robbery, evidence tampering, and the sale and delivery of cocaine and ecstasy.He is 5’9”, 165 pounds, with numerous tattoos, including a man holding a baby with “King ofKings” written on his upper left arm. Detectives say Rodriguez is likely to be laying low in eitherthe East Naples area or possibly Golden Gate Estates.Rebecca RomanoLast, but certainly not least, is a woman who has made the irresponsible decision to getbehind the wheel while intoxicated time and time again. Rebecca Romano has already beenconvicted three times before of driving under the influence, yet still has not learned from theerrors of her ways. In her last DUI, she was found slumped over the wheel in a Lehigh Acresneighborhood. When deputies arrived to see if she was OK, Romano mumbled several differentstories, ranging from running out of gas to her need to get her laundry done. After failing aseries of field sobriety tests, deputies found heroin, crack, and several narcotic pills in herpossession. She was promptly arrested for DUI and spent the last three months in lockupbefore regaining her freedom last month. But last week, she was supposed to show up for acourt hearing on the DUI, and instead decided to go on the run. Over the years, Romano hasbeen jailed nine times in Lee County for assault, battery, burglary, resisting, hit and run, and lotsof drug charges. She is 5’4”, 115 pounds, and was last known to be living in downtown FortMyers. A brand new warrant for the arrest of 18-year-old LoganFord was issued two weeks ago after he failed to show up in court following an arrest formultiple break-ins. Ford told detectives that he was simply bored when he went out in the weehours of the morning and broke into vehicles that were left unlocked. Among the items hepilfered were wallets, electronics, and even a bank bag with more than $5,000 in cash. He waseventually arrested for the crimes and released under the guise of showing back up for a courthearing to explain his side of the story to the judge. But when his court date came up on thecalendar earlier this month, Ford was nowhere to be found. Ford is 6’3”, 325 pounds, and waslast known to be staying in Southwest Cape Coral. And upon his arrest, he will be held withoutbond.last_img read more
